Fun Fact!

Although it's spelled “Marvin Gardens” in Monopoly and the title of the 1972 Jack Nicholson film The King of Marvin Gardens, the real name of this high-end, residential neighborhood is Marven Gardens. The name is a conjunction of the first syllable of each town it is located between—Ventnor and Margate. Upon discovering their mistake, the makers of Monopoly officially apologized to the Marven Gardens community.
