James’ Salt Water Taffy
This local chain has three locations in Atlantic City, and two south of the resort, but this spot on the historic Boardwalk takes the cake—or make that the taffy. Featured in HBO’s Prohibition-era series Boardwalk Empire, this age-old Jersey shore business is run by fifth generation candy-makers and features hand-made chocolate covered pretzels, fudge, macaroons and a variety of other snacks and treats.
