Famed Western New York watercolorist—and the museum's namesake—Charles Burchfield is one of the 20thcentury masters featured in this exhibit, which explores the phenomenon of synesthesia, “the capacity to see sounds or hear colors.” Other artists represented include Arthur Stella, Georgia O’Keeffe and Max Weber.
