Columbus Oktoberfest

Break out the lederhosen for this free festival, which is in its 46th year. Things kick off with a keg tapping followed by events like the stein hoist (a beer lifting competition) the 4-mile Brat Trot and dances by the Austrian Tanz und Spielkreis Dancers. Listen to the Augsburg Band and sample authentic sauerkraut, beer and cream puffs. Sept. 23-25. (09/2011)
