Vander Veer Botanical Park

This 33-acre park, originally the Scott County Fairgrounds, was patterned after New York City’s Central Park and is ringed by a residential district that was built between 1895 and 1915. Highlights include a beautiful fountain, formal rose gardens and a conservatory. (03/2011)
