NEW ORLEANS MUSEUM OF ART

The museum's vast collection spans 40,000 works from countless artists, but Impressionist Edgar Degas holds a special point of pride at the NOMA-the works he painted while visiting New Orleans are on display just blocks from the site where he painted them. The French collection is very strong, as is the Arts of the Americas collection.(12/2007)
