The Amateur Astronomers Association of Pittsburgh runs two observatories dedicated to public education. During the warmer months, they host "star parties" every other weekend (May 1-2, 15-16 and 29-30) so anyone interested can come out and view the heavens. Bring a folding chair for optimum viewing comfort. (05/2009)
