Visits to the Past

As part of the celebration of the 175th anniversary of the Battle of the Alamo, actors in period military garb will demonstrate the use of arms and tactics in the famous 1836 battle, including the loading and firing of flintlock muskets. Onlookers will also see how people of that era cooked and lived their daily lives. Aug. 20. (08/2011)
