The second-largest military park in the world, this site features four key Civil War battlefields: Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania, Chancellorsville and Wilderness. Guided and self-guided driving and walking tours are available throughout the landscape, which saw 85,000 wounded and 15,000 killed.
