Botanica’s Children’s Gardens
This garden is more than just pretty flowers. Starting this summer, children will have their own special section at the gardens that includes a barn, a giant treehouse, a musical maze, and a pond, which expose children to plants and nature from a whimsical perspective. River City Trolley & Charters

Louise C. Murdock Theatre
Originally built in 1931, this historic theater reopened in 2005 after extensive renovations. While now technologically modern, it remains true to its history, with original frescoes, Art Deco chandeliers and shuttered windows. This month brings Coppelia from the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow (July 9) and Puccini’s famed opera, Tosca (July 24). (08/2011)

Boeing Dome Theater and Planetarium

KEEPER OF THE PLAINS PLAZA
