Louise C. Murdock Theatre

Originally built in 1931, this historic theater reopened in 2005 after extensive renovations. While now technologically modern, it remains true to its history, with original frescoes, Art Deco chandeliers and shuttered windows. This month brings Coppelia from the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow (July 9) and Puccini’s famed opera, Tosca (July 24). (08/2011)
