BB&T FOOD & WINE FESTIVAL
CHARLESTON
At this outstanding culinary event, visitors can learn about all things food and wine from the country's best chefs, authors and wine professionals. Individually priced special events include Bubbles & Sweets, where you can sip champagne and nibble on sweets from national and local pastry chefs, wine seminars, gospel brunch and more.

AT&T FAMILY FUN WEEKEND
ATLANTA
Add an educational element to your trip at the Atlanta History Center. When you purchase one adult ticket, kids 18 and younger get in free. Through photos, artifacts and oral history, a new exhibit, "Courage: The Vision to End Segregation, the Guts to Fight for It," explores the South Carolina community that spurred the end of segregation in schools.

"BOLD EXPRESSIONS IN MODERN ART: THE BUDDY GREENBERG COLLECTION"
WICHITA
This exhibit at the Wichita Art Museum exists thanks to Wichita native Elton J. "Buddy" Greenberg, whose collection of 20th-century art includes works by Donald Roller Wilson and John Fincher, as well as ceramicist Jun Kaneko.

THE AMERICAN CRAFT SHOW
BALTIMORE
Celebrating 32 years, this event is the largest juried, indoor fine craft show in the country. New this year is the "Green Craft" category, which features artists who use recycled, found and eco-friendly materials and techniques. Another highlight at the Baltimore Convention Center is "Craft4Kids," which is dedicated to clothing, furniture, toys and other goodies for little ones.

This mile-high city knows good eats, and there's no better time to taste for yourself than during this seven-day celebration. Participating restaurants will offer a multicourse dinner for the fixed price of $52.80 for two or $26.40 for one (not including tax or tip).

CELEBRATE LOVE

There's nothing like listening to beautiful love songs with that special someone. To honor Valentine's Day, Folger Consort is performing a 13th-century song cycle by poet/singer Martin Codax, which includes lively dances and upbeat instrumentals, at the Folger Elizabethan Theatre.

"Jewelry by Artists: The Daphne Farago Collection"

Ladies, if you want your man to buy you some jewelry, head to the Museum of Fine Arts to give him some inspiration. While the pieces were not created to be worn, the beautifully designed jewelry by artists like Alexander Calder and Man Ray will put some ideas in his head.

Valentine's Day at Whitehall
