"Tutankhamun: The Golden King & the Great Pharaohs"

Spanning 2,000 years of Egyptian history (between 2600-660 BC), this exhibit at the Atlanta Civic Center features more than 130 artifacts, including extraordinary finds from the tomb of Tutankhamun, other tombs in the Valley of the
Kings, temples, palaces and additional ancient sites. Relics range in size from tiny, intricately carved jewels to a 10-foot-tall statue of King Tut himself. Th e extraordinary collection, presented by Emory University's Michael C. Carlos Museum, will give visitors a sense of how life and art evolved over many generations in ancient Egypt.
Ain't Misbehavin'

This 30th anniversary tour of the Tony Award-winning Broadway classic features "American Idol" stars Ruben Studdard and Frenchie Davis in leading roles. Rooted in the jazz of Fats Waller, the musical revue honors the Harlem Renaissance of the '20s and '30s, when increased cultural awareness and pride led to an African-American creative boom. This show at The Fox Theatre is the closest thing to a time machine back to the Cotton Club's heyday. www.foxtheatre.org
