How to Ski Moguls

World champion moguls skier Patrick Deneen knows a thing or two about cruising the bumps. The Olympic hopeful gives us a quick lesson.

1 Plan Ahead Before jumping into the mogul field, look down the hill and plan where you want your skis to go.

3 Turn Early It’s never too early to turn. Point your skis away from the mogul before impact, and go around it.

2 Stay Forward As you ski into the bumps, make sure you flex your ankles and keep your body forward.

4 Stand Up Between the moguls, make sure to stand up while flexed forward. This will prepare you for the next turn.
