Steal the secrets of Fort Lauderdale's movers and shakers for some celebritystyle relaxation.

Paul Castronovo, longtime radio personality ("The Paul and Young Ron Morning Show") and wine maker (Castronovo Vineyards), has an affinity for a clearer liquid — water. On weekends, you'll find him taking his boat out for a spin to Cap's Place, an iconic Lighthouse Point restaurant with its own dock. "The bar there is priceless," he says. "Sometimes we just go for a rum and Coke and Key lime pie."
It's not food, but exercise, that completes the weekend for Hell's Kitchen runnerup Paula DaSilva. The chef at Miami's 1500 Degrees works offthe side effect of life in a gourmet kitchen by going to Coconut Creek Boot Camp several times a week. She calls the workout "grueling" but necessary. "I'm sticking with it!" she enthuses.
But torturous cardio ain't the only way to hedge against decadent ingredients: Chef Oliver Saucy of Café Maxx in Pompano takes his boys to the batting cages at Extra Innings in Margate to slug it out, or, when he wants to be alone, ruins a good walk with a round at the Pompano Golf Course. "But I dread the first and last holes," he says, explaining that they're overlooked by the clubhouse, leaving him exposed to the judgements of fellow movers and shakers while they sip away at martinis.
House DJ and largerthanlife restaurateur of three namesake eateries, Steve Martorano, works 365 days a year, so free time is rare. "I go to The Zoo (a health club) on the beach for two hours every morning and work out with my trainer, Angel Evans. He's 68." His abs sculpted by an experienced master, he heads offfor a shot of espresso at St. Bart's Coffee Co. around the corner to prepare for another night behind the wheels of steel.
Anthony Fasano, tight end for the Miami Dolphins, loves to take advantage of the area's famed food options. "During the season, I don't get much time to be social, but I love good food — a good dinner with good friends." His gotos are Café Martorano's ("for the meatballs, of course"), Bistro Mezzaluna ("try their chicken and sausage rigatoni") and, when he needs his sushi fix, you'll find him munching on hamachi at Asia Bay ("they do this great appetizer, too, the Tuna Rock").
Former Mets baseball home run king Cliff Floyd isn't too picky about what he watches, but he is about where he watches it. "If there's a great game on — any game — I'll go to Bokamper's Sports Bar in Miramar near my house. They have great signature wings — grilled, not fried."
Photographer and Girls' Club (a museum for contemporary art by women) founder Francie Bishop Good visits the Fort LauderdaleMuseum of Art for inspiration. "My favorite painting is a luscious pink oil painting by Philip Guston." After you've had your fill of visual stimulation, she suggests making a coffee and pastry pit stop at nearby Gran Forno Italian Bakery before heading off to take some museumworthy photos of your own. Irvin Lippman, director of the Fort Lauderdale
Museum of Art, is a yoga devotee who studies at The Barkan Method Hot Yoga. "[Jimmy] is one of the country's great yoga teachers," Lippman claims. His Gumby impersonation done, he'll regain his strength at the Greek Islands Taverna, watching beachgoers sidle by while munching Mediterranean delights. You don't have to pay to play. "The public beaches are free!" exclaims personal finance guru Suze Orman, who hosts The Suze Orman Show on CNBC. But the money maven does have a boat (definitely not free) for zipping along in the Intracoastal. When she's not setting sail or lazing in the sun, she's likely at Truluck's, a seafood favorite in Mizner Park.
